Taplow House Hotel & Spa invites you to an intimate dinner event with renowned chef, Daniel Galmiche. Working in Michelin Star establishments around the world from the highly acclaimed Le Gavroche under the tutelage of Michel Roux, to restaurant Schillinger in Colmar, and a spell in three Michelin star Marc Meneau in Veselay.
Chef Galmiche will host and present a mouth-watering four course menu, featuring his own unique take on French Cuisine – taking guests on a culinary journey through France’s finest flavours.
In Scotland Daniel was awarded Master Chef of the Year, gaining a Michelin star whilst working at Knockinaam Lodge. He was also awarded a Michelin Star at Harvey’s in Bristol where he was Chef/Manager and maintained the Michelin Star at L’Ortolan near Reading and again at the magnificent Cliveden House in Berkshire. He was awarded the 2011 rising chef trophy for Relais et Chateau Worldwide, Restaurant of the Year 2012/2013 by Decanter magazine, and has held position 82 on the list of the top 100 best restaurants in the UK by Restaurant magazine. Having been at the helm of the famous 5-star Relais et Chateaux, The Vineyard for seven years, again with a Michelin Star.
He was awarded Relais et Chateaux Worldwide Rising Chef Trophy 2010-2011. He is a member of the Academy of Culinary Art (Academie Culinaire), the Chaine des Rotisseurs and judges regularly for The Soil Association Organic Awards.
We will be serving dinner on the evening in two magnificent rooms, The Garden Room and the Grenfell Lounge. Tickets must be bought in advance and the maximum size table will be 6 guests. The dress code for this event is smart casual.

Guests who have reserved their place at this dining experience are entitled to 20% off the Bed and Breakfast rate for the evening of the event. Please contact reservations@taplowhouse.com to reserve your stay.
Terms and Conditions: All events are adult only unless otherwise specified. Adults are classified as aged 18 and above. A credit card guarantee is required at time of booking. Taplow House reserves the right to cancel or amend any events up to 7 days prior to arrival if minimum numbers are not reached making the event unviable – at which point a full refund will be offered. Cancellations within 14 days of the event will be charged at full value of the purchase price. Tickets can only be transferred to other guests with the approval of the hotel. All dietary requirements, where applicable, must be advised a minimum of 7 days prior to the event. The maximum number of tickets which can be purchased by an individual will vary depending on the specific event and the capacity offered. Clients will receive full details of each event the week prior to the event in addition to the automated confirmation received at time of booking.
