Following the opening of its luxury spa this summer, Taplow House Hotel & Spa has been awarded a celebrated “Five Bubble” rating from The Good Spa Guide for its luxurious facilities, extensive range of treatment options and first-rate service delivery.

Rating the 30-bedroom hotel as “fantastic”, the authoritative guide awarded five bubbles for delivering “an uninterrupted spa journey, tip-top treatments, first-rate facilities and fabulous customer service”.

The Good Spa Guide’s ratings are based on a selection of areas including a range of treatments, treatment rooms and changing facilities, whirlpool, steam room, the quality of staff and therapists, and food. The spa inspector also studied the standard of cleanliness and the overall experience. The four-star, grade-II-listed Georgian property opened its spa earlier this year following a multi-million-pound renovation project. In addition to the development of a new spa in the hotel’s former cellars on the lower-ground floor, a refurbishment of the ground floor public spaces was carried out throughout the hotel’s reception, bar, three separate dining rooms, which now offer all-day dining, and its extensive, outdoor terrace. A new, elegant juice bar, serving beverages and snacks and with views onto the hotel’s inviting water experience, was also created directly above the spa.

The hotel has partnered with luxury British skincare brand, Temple Spa, leaders in cruelty-free, botanical, anti-ageing skincare, throughout the spa, which boasts six treatment rooms, a nail bar and pedicure room, relaxation lounge, sauna, glazed conservatory, and an outdoor whirlpool. Temple Spa products are now also used in the bedrooms. Taplow House Hotel & Spa offers a wide range of spa treatments including massages, pedicures, and facials, as well as spa days and overnight breaks. Spa days begin at £95 per person, while spa breaks start from £320 per room and include an overnight stay for two, three-course dinner, full English breakfast, and one 60-minute Temple Spa treatment. Longer spa packages are also available.
