How can I book a stay?

What should I do if my desired date isn’t available online?
Our online availability is always up to date. If you can’t find your preferred date, please contact us at reservations@taplowhouse.com or call +44 (1)628 670056 to be placed on our waitlist.

Does Taplow House have dog-friendly rooms?
Yes, we welcome dogs in our dog-friendly rooms for £20 per night, per dog – with dog beds and bowls provided. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the Garden Room Restaurant or Spa Lounge.

What are Taplow House’s check-in and check-out times?
You can check in anytime from 14:00, and check out anytime before 11:00. If you arrive early, you are welcome to drop off your luggage and enjoy the grounds until your room is ready.

Is Taplow House accessible for guests with mobility needs?
We offer a tracked wheelchair stair climber for first-floor bedrooms and a DDA treatment room in the spa. Contact our reception team for more details.

Does Taplow House have electric vehicle charging points?
Sadly, we don’t have EV charging onsite. However, four charging points are available 0.4 miles away at the Shell Little Waitrose Maidenhead.

How do I find Taplow House?
Taplow House is located on Berry Hill in Taplow, Maidenhead, SL6 0DA. The nearest train station is Taplow Station (0.8 miles away).

Do you have lifts in the hotel?
We don’t have lifts in the hotel due to the building’s historic design. Our team is always available to assist with luggage and accessibility needs.

Can I walk in without a restaurant reservation?
Our restaurant does its best to accommodate walk-ins, but we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your table.

What’s your dress code for dining?
Our dress code for dining is smart-casual, with smart trainers allowed.

Do you cater to dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary needs when you book, and our team will be happy to help.

Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Yes, we offer a range of gift vouchers, perfect for stays, dining, or spa treatments.

Can I book spa treatments on the day?
We recommend booking in advance, but we will do our best to accommodate requests for same-day treatments.

What is your spa cancellation policy?
Treatments require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation. Spa days require 72 hours’ notice. Group bookings (4+ people) need seven days’ notice.

Can children use the spa facilities?
Our spa is for adults aged 16 and over.

Do you have a swimming pool?
Yes, we have a heated hydrotherapy pool with garden views, available to guests aged 16 and over.

Are spa products available for purchase?
Yes, most products used in our treatments can be purchased at the spa reception.

Can I host a private event at Taplow House?
