Beyond our expectations....

Dear Mr Goss My daughter, Katie, and her husband, Jason, had their wedding reception at your hotel on Saturday 10th October. The reception was excellent, beyond our expectations, and was primarily due to your staff and the hotel location. I don’t think any of us are able to take credit for the wonderful weather! The people that I met, Melissa, Ana, Anthony and Ahmed were every helpful and courteous. However, I appreciate that they cannot function without a large number of colleagues in the background, and I would ask that you forward our thanks to all your staff for helping to make Saturday such a memorable day. Hi Melissa Back from honeymoon in sunny Lisbon.... We just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help in making our wedding celebrations such a success. Everyone had a wonderful time at the reception. Please pass on our thanks to everyone at the hotel it was all really appreciated. Everything was exactly as we had hoped, if not better, and it was down to you and the team that it all ran so smoothly. Many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how professional and friendly the entire hotel staff were. We stayed on Sunday 23rd August 2009 for one night resulting from a phone around trying to find a hotel with a room with outside space for our honeymoon night next year. I was so impressed by the time your receptionist Anna took in explaining how wonderful The Taplow Suite was that we decided to trial it from the recommendation and were not disappointed. Again on arrival Anna remembered me and personally showed us to the room, which was perfect. All the staff during our stay were very accommodating which did lead us to enquire about moving our drinks party after the registry office to your hotel. Unfortunately you already have a wedding that day so it fails under the two bride policy! Our thanks again for our experience of such a professional but friendly run hotel. I hope soon to booking at least our honeymoon night with you!

Dear Mr Goss There was only going to be one opinion that mattered on how Taplow House Hotel performed at my daughter’s wedding at that was the opinion of Alex herself. She declared her day perfect and everything that she wanted it to be. I consider myself to be an informed and critical user of hotel and catering services having spent my working life in the industry. My own experience and that that of the many guests that I made a point of asking, including other “experts” like myself would endorse my daughter’s opinion. To provide food for 110 is never easy, to do it very well is positively hard. The food and service throughout the weekend was exemplary and the service marshalled by the wonderful Denise and her team was spot on - highly professional with no comprise on standards. With such close attention to every detail yet always friendly and approachable many guests commented on the service and mentioned Denise in particular. Melissa is a worthy successor to Vicky whose return to Taplow House Hotel on the day typified the standard of care and hospitality we have enjoyed throughout, and was hugely appreciated. Your team without exception made my daughter’s dream come true and made me a hero, and in that I cannot pay your team a higher compliment. Would you pass on our thanks to all your staff, including housekeeping invisible yet so effective and reception for a job exceptionally well done and feel free to share this with any potential guest who may need gentle persuasion to chose your hotel as a venue.
