We are now looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join our brigade.

Ideally you will already have experience of working in a busy kitchen including volume weddings, banqueting, private dining and fine dining service with acute attention to detail.

Our ideal Chef de Partie will have:

  • A minimum of 18 months experience as a Chef de Partie or a very strong Commis Chef looking to progress.
  • High standards of food hygiene / cleanliness
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Passion for producing perfect dishes every time using locally sourced produce wherever possible.
  • A good sense of humour

We are a four star country house hotel, located on the outskirts of Maidenhead and we are recruiting for a part time night porter/auditor to join our friendly and family orientated team.

Job details:
-16 hours per week, over two night shifts (can be flexible on nights worked).
-Overtime can be available during holidays and peak periods

Duties include:
-Answering telephone in a friendly and polite manner
-Manning reception over night, including any guest check ins and check outs
-Assisting with guest queries or complaints
-Completing night audit functions
-Security patrols

Person specification:
-Good communication skills – written and verbal English essential
-Responsible “can-do” attitude
-Must be happy to work nights and work a lot of time on own
-Previous customer service experience
-Previous experience in a hotel environment desired but not essential, as full training will be given.

Food & Beverage Supervisor - Full time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Food & Berverage Supervisor to join our team here at the hotel. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the primary focus of the role will be to deliver total guest satisfaction to each and every event within the hotel – pre, during and post event.

This is an operational role so you will need to lead the event from the front, ensuring that you and your team deliver a truly engaging and personalised event for our guests.You will need to have a great eye for detail, be organised and articulate, be a fantastic communicator and ultimately have a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.


We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team within Taplow House Hotel, a busy four star hotel close to Maidenhead.

As Housekeeping Assistant you will be responsible for the cleaning of public areas and guest bedrooms.

The responsibilities for the Housekeeping Assistant include:

  • Public Area and Bedroom Cleaning
  • Stock Control
  • Ensuring that all standards are met in line with the hotel’s procedures

Experience in a cleaning role is preferable, ideally in the hospitality industry. You need to be able to provide exceptional attention to detail, be an organised individual with excellent planning and communication skills and a very strong work ethic. As the business operates seven days a week there will be some weekend work involved.
