About us

Taplow House Hotel was an Elizabethan manor built in 1568 and a devastating fire completely destroyed that house in 1660. The existing Georgian property was built in 1751 and it remained a private residence until 1958. Today, this hotel in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, on the border of Berkshire, remains privately owned, with 3 sister properties: The Royal Garden Hotel in London, the Goodwood Park Hotel and York Hotel in Singapore.

The luxury hotel in beautiful Buckinghamshire can play host to any type of special occasions, but no matter the reason for your visit, their mission is to deliver a high standard of personalised service in a home from home environment. As well as idyllic surroundings the main attribute of the hotel is its staff; welcoming you with a smile and are genuinely happy to help to make your stay a memorable one. Leave the city behind and come and enjoy a peaceful country house hotel which is charmingly English and understatedly modern with a service designed around you.
